this is weird. it didn't let me use the airbrush then it didn't let me paint just when i was done using it for the body and went to the background... ugh.

i don't know what happened with the program (sometimes it fritzes) but on the links, you copy/pasted the wrong thing. if you look at the top area of the internet window, there's the bar where you type the site you want to go to. that's the URL bar. to make a link you just copy/paste the site that is written up there.
so this link [link] will take you to the front page.

this drawing came out pretty well. i tried to dodge to lighten the tips, but it didn't work :/ still... im getting better

this looks a bit like the asiatic dragon from jessica "neondragon" peffer's first drawing book. it is pretty good, although you might want to look at how to draw fur. the tail plume looks like a plant. i'm not trying to soun mean, just help you get better ^^ the neck is the smallest bit too long, but with asian dragons, it doesn't matter too much. the hands/feet are a bit awkward, but that can be fixed with a bit of studying (learning how to draw is pretty fun, if you like to learn ^^). i see a white outline around the dragon. was that an attempted glow effect? if so, you can accomplish it better if you use the airbrush tool and frame the dragon. the face is really good, probably the best part of the dragon. the dodge/burn tool really isn't a good tool to use, seeing as how i've only seen a few people use it well, but it's a good thing that you didn't rely on it too heavily. try taking the base color and darkening it with the color customizer. it'll look a lot better.
all in all, it's okay, but could improve. sorry if you didn't want any crits, i just felt like helping out. i'm in a bit of a critique-ey mood i guess ^^

oh yea i did forget to say c&c :)
anyways, i know the paws are awkward because i havn't really gotten used to this yet. and, yea this is a pose of neon's eastern. it was also awkward doing the fur, too.... because i have a laptop with a touchpad. i am used to the pad, but it offers a little less control over curves than a mouse. i tried to get close to the dragon's edges, but it kept going over it. i have just figured out kow to do the layers, so i don't need to worry about that anymore. i used the fill around, and i don't know why i left that white around the edges. i used pen to outline. i can do everything so much better on paper right now :)
and, i usually don't do fur on my dragons, so i am not quite so used to it yet. i have my other here, it's a reproduction of my own drawing called Beautiful Storm. i have so many on-paper drawings. can i upload and post them here?

if you have a scanner, then you can scan pictures to deviantart, photobucket, or others. most people on here have deviantart accounts. to show off pics here, just put up a doodle, then copy and paste the URL of the page you want to link to. make sure you post the doodle in the right board, cause that's something that i've noticed ticking people off.

this is a reprodution of my own drawing i did on paper. i soon as i make a devian account. i'll post the link. probably tomorrow. i added an arora of all the types, ice (light blue), earth (brown), wind (pinkish), and fire (redorange). this is a main ice dragon, but has all the attack of any other dragon. all but the red underbelly show the iciness. please c&c

Oh gosh am I tired. This took far too long for what it is hehe. I tried using only one layer for colouring (inspired by kadance - thank you :) ). Very difficult x_x.

Anyhow, this is Tess; my part of an art trade with docile_dragon. I hope it's okay. I'm just so tired (it's 1am here) and couldn't save it so it might not be too great! I can redo it some other time if necessary ^^. It was very fun either way :).
I tried to do a background. That failed so badly.

Entry for Sacerlupus's Hidden Creature Contest
This is Einar, he's half frilled lizard half scorpion. Einar's stinger was cut off during a battle so he had his tail tipped with a blade. When fighting he holds a shield in his pricers and jabs his enemies with his tail blade. He uses his frill to startle his enemies. Einar has severely injured those who stood in his way; he has kill those who have attacked him.
Einar works alone, he is looking for the lightning sticks, from the time before, which are said to be in the valley of ruins along with other wonders in the legends of the time before. Einar has seen some of the things from the valley of ruins and believes that his people suffered a technology lost at one time. It was found out that Einar believes once he has superior technology he will be unstoppable and will be able to do whatever he wants. What does Einar want to do? Many villains have the flaw of reveling their plans prematurely, not Einar. Einar's biggest weakness is his pride.
