LIEK OMG

I hate Sparkeldogs....So I drew one as a rant release, along with their typical horribly bad anatomy, ultra skinny-ness with super long legs. Multiple tails and crap loads of useless junk added on with those little chibi-fied wings and mixed with fairy. Oh and don't forget the PINK.

Sparkeldogs basically show everything I hate about "Original Characters" gone to far. I hate multiple tails, one is enough. Super-skinny animals bug the crap outta' me, make them thick like they are supposed to be, unless it is a Maned-Wolf or a Greyhound or something. Those horrible long legs and tiny, tiny paws just...EGH. Not to mention they look like they were barfed on by a packed closet full of junk.

An un-natural colored wolf, or a doggy with wings is fine...but some people, well a lot of people just take it way to far. And fursonas are the WORST. :/

You can flame me, I don't care.
No crits on anayomy, since it was supposed to look half-shit.
Comments are fine, as long as it is not "OMG I LIEK HATE CHU!!!!!"

I agree with you on some points, like the large amounts of random accessories and the messed up anatomy. I actually like fursonas, though, because I feel like they say something about the person who created them.

I like the expression you gave your creation and the tongue ring.

Actually I quite like chuuu for stating an opinion I can actually agree on.
I just hope you don't get flamed.
Cause I like realistic animals.
It irks me when people disregard anatomy and etc to be "unique".
You can twist things into your own style, but drawing like crap isn't a style. It's called an excuse.
And I just don't see how most of these poor creatures can function in the wild with clothes and the like puked onto their bodies.
Wolves are hunters, not fashionistas.
Domestic cats are forced into clothes and trinkets, real wild cats can't chase their prey with a skirt on.
Etc, etc.

yeah, I agree with you! Sparkledogs have wierd anatomy, and too much items to be on an animal! The anatomy annoys me too, with over-skinny legs and small paws...but I'm okay when the anatomy looks atleast a little realistic and less items...

I wouldn't know about DA, I haven't been on there to do stuff in months.

I KNOW there are some artists who draw "Sparkeldogs" and make them look good. I'm NOT out to hate every artist, because my own fursona had wings and is a ebony direwolf. :/

A real Sparkle-Animal to me is this:
Poor anatomy covered by mounds of fluff and accessories.
Huge ears, to long of legs and a very skinny torso.
Multiple tails,
Bland personality that everyone uses.
Uncreative/ Copy of from a movie or book.
Way to many add-ons (jelwery, markings, mutations ect)
The use of eye-melting colors or to many different and unatural colors.

Unless you have like, half of that list, it isn't a Sparkle-Animal to me.
A feathery-winged wolf with blue fur, necklace and green eyes is fine. Add orange stripes, red spots, long blone hair, a dozen piercings and three extra tails, THEN it makes my eyes bleed.

You see where I'm getting at people?

Making fun of over-the-tops things will never get old, I think. It's a natural law. The thing is to not take it personally, this wasn't directed at anyone, just at some people who think fursonas should either be flotation devices or rainbow barf with poor anatomy. If you'll excuse my crude wording.

Therefore, shall be added "neon-colored-fursonas-wearing-enough-metal-to-sink" to the things-to-make-fun-of list along with "sparkly vampires",
"bleached-blonde women who had esthetic surgery to get breasts size 36DD" and "WoW nerds" (yeah I play WoW, I still make fun of WoW players anyway).

PS : I'm glad you didn't color it, having my eyes assaulted by a neon rainbow would have hurt. :P

I'm not being a hater, this wasn't pointed at anyone. I'm just not a fan of wolves looking like random item picking hobos that fell into a rainbow. Plus I like good anatomy, and big, thick and fluffy canines.

Guess it also goes with I have had a lot of people tell me :"Your fursona is way to bland. Add this and this and that to it!!!" When my whole reason was to make her simple yet unique.

*sighs* I'm not pointing my finger at anyone on here. Thank you to the few who understood my meaning to this.

Drawing like a n00b is so dang hard. How they do it on purpose is beyond me. x_x And I do like some SD, it's just that group of people who want to be so original...yeah -____-
