((Warning, alot of my poetry is dark, or even self pity like. I don't mean it to be, just when i write it thats how it turns out))


Dark Hole, Bright Sky



Darkness swirls,
an endless pit.
Darkness consumes,
There's no preventing it.

The hole is bleak,
despair thrives.
Up you must seek,
or you'll lose your lives.

Pity is present,
self consuming.
It's there without consent,
and never to be leaving.

Until you look up,
and find your way out,
you'll always be stuck,
no matter how loud you shout.

Light is there,
Always for you to see.
Seek it if you dare,
and forever you‘ll be free.

It's there forever,
like the earth itself.
Whether you see it ever,
it's up to yourself.

Alit the sky is,
Shining its pureness.
Welcoming those who,
Can make it to the brightness.

Climb out of the darkness,
finally see the sight.
You can clean up the mess,
Be in a new, bright light.




Death

Death should not be feared
But it shouldn’t be sought
If you are loved and well cared
Do not wish for it to be brought.
Despair is dark and bleak
Blackness and rage consumes your soul.
But don’t let this stage seep
Or you’ll shrivel and be dull.
You’ll loose all hope
In the world you know.
You must stand straight and cope
Or you’ll be lost in the time’s flow.



Why?

Light and Dark
You and me
What’s the difference?
I fail to see
Why you aren’t for me

Laugh and play
Smile and joke
Why didn’t I know?
My fire you stoke
My actions fake

Your world and mine
Real and imagination
Am I too bad for this?
Give me an invitation
Never your irritation

Late and Now
Now and Late
Why did I wait?
My hearts never sate
Without its soul mate.



Humanity’s Stain

Deep down in the dark of the hate
Stewing beneath the shadows of late
Brewing from the blackness of the fate

Churning in the that broken heart
Doomed it was from the start
Staining the soul like black art

It will spread like a web in seek
Ensnaring those that are meek
Entwining those that are weak

A corrupt soul around forever
Twisting those everywhere
Conquering those that aren’t clever

Can you escape this foul thing?

i think it's really good! But you Might want to work on your rhyming scheme and rythm... Try and work on line placement too.... VERY interesting.

Shells

Bright, beautiful souls
We often have shells
We hide, scared of the world
Hoping someday to be loved

But we are not seen
We are invisible
We want to be seen
But we aren’t

We want the warmth of arms
Around our soft bodies
And soft kisses
On our soft lips

The truth is
We are the most beautiful inside
But we will never be loved
Because of the shells, we hide
