normally, I really don't like 4-limbed dragons, but I somehow got to pterosaurs on wikipedia and thought dragons based on those might be neat. Sorta combining random dino/pterosaur and bird traits with the aesthetics of dragons I like. I don't know much of animal anatomy and haven't drawn dragons for ages, so forgive me if these are utter crap. XD

First attempt:

S'alright but me & Andan agreed it was too skinny for the likes of a dragon. =P

Second:

Neck could be longer and thinner, and I'm not sure of the tail-thing, but otherwise I think it's good for now.

Kinda looks like Raezel :o

I think he looks kinda top heavy, because his head and neck are heavy and armoured and his waist is teeny tiny. I actually think the first design would function better as it is lighter and more agile looking, but the legs could do with being a little larger to support his weight on the ground. The concept is very neat, though :>

Was going for that. =P

As I said, the neck could be thinner, which would prolly help that top-heaviness. Pterosaur looks weird anyways, their neck and head (which are far longer than I was willing to go) are longer than their bodies. See?
As for the tiny waist, it's more horizontal than vertical, but maybe I will extend it. Pterosaur have really short bodies, I gave much more distance between ribs and pelvis.

Even if the slimmer one is more practical/realistic... c'mon, this is me. Such a thing is heinous. XD

hmmmm... while I understand what you're saying about the pelvis and everything... I still think there should be less bulk at the top. Cuz even though the pterasaurs had big heads and tiny bodies, their heads didn't have a lot of bulk on them. They were fairly narrow, not much else on them.

That's what I think, at least. Maybe I'm wrong XD But I think I might be right.
